There is a dilemma that most of us come across when we manage to score a guy/girl at a nightclub, bar or anywhere really: do we text them straight away after we get their number, or do we wait until the next day? Or should we go by the three-day rule, which basically means that you have to wait three days before texting them so that you don’t look too desperate?
We all cop those dreary sort of days when we’re feeling unmotivated and way too tired to dress up, let alone actually leave the house to go out to a nightclub or bar. Sometimes you end up giving in to your exhaustion, and decide to embrace having a lazy night in with junk food and a movie. But other times, you feel like you have to go out.
Melbourne’s bar scene is renowned throughout the bar scenes of both Australia and the world, and for good reason. One man across the globe who certainly noticed this was Reg Ridealgh, a London bartender who moved to Melbourne and now calls it home. His years of being a bartender inspired him to open his own bar in St Kilda called Love & Dysfunction.

But new kid on the Melbourne bar scene General Store And Co. have combined the two worlds that should be foreign to one another, but with the fun of the latter winning.

And for those unable to attend, I can guarantee I swirled some wine and Instagram’ed the heavenly delicacies that were floating around the room for you.
Why are girls the first to start a dance on the empty dance floor? Are females just genetically programmed to be the life of the party or are we just more outgoing than men? Why aren’t men dominant on the dance floor if they dominate almost everything else in life?

Everyone loves a bit of fun on their night out, and I personally find this totally acceptable. Keep the drinks flowing and the lights off and get drunk and dance. Do whatever drugs you want, blah blah, we’re young, you know the drill. Yeah, going out is great. But come on boys, how fucked are you when you’re talking to a girl? You’ve gotta be smart if you’re too drunk and pick one that is also too drunk so she won’t care what you’re saying.
A casual conversation may seem effortless with the girls and the topics are very generic, but when it comes to the guys, having a chat at the pub, there is a lot more depth to their conversations.
