Nightclubbing is meant to be a fun outing every week for young adult to go out and let their hair down and have fun. However, nightclubs are commonly seen as places to meet people or ‘hook-up’ with someone new. Does this mean that if you are in a relationship that clubbing could be off limits? Or should you club as a couple?
Have you ever felt like someone is watching you and you get shivers up your spine? Do you ever feel like that late at night? In the dark? In the club? Then you probably are being watched. And it’s probably your psycho ex. These things really exist people! We need to spread awareness to stop the occurrence of attacks.
When you head out clubbing for the first time, it can be the most exciting time of your life, but there are a few things to keep in mind.
Going clubbing on your 18th birthday has become a rite of passage. Even schoolies celebrations come in second place compared to the clubs. The thrills of clubbing are unbeatable, from the music blasting through your ears to the alcohol running through your veins. But, there are so many things to be cautious of at the same time.
Guys have it pretty good when it comes to winter going out fashion. From jeans to suits, their clothing is warm. Granted, they have it worse in the summer when they see the ‘no shorts no service’ signs outside a pub full of girls in short shorts. But on these 10 degree nights, us women have to sacrifice our warmth for the sake of conventional ‘going out fashion’, which tend to be mainly dresses, skirts and shorts.
1. Confidence
We all dream of a guy who knows exactly who he is. A guy with confidence is always a guy with a date at the club, but can he be the type of guy who is ready to settle down… Yes, he can.
A few distinct differences come to mind when I compare city clubs and suburban clubs. Firstly, for a city club, I think of a room or two filled with sweaty young adults drenched in alcohol, listening to techno music and dancing the night away. For a suburban club I imagine, a small room filled with anyone aged 18 and above, drinking beer, playing pool and listening to a live band.
Guys and girls, let’s face it, sometimes you’re looking to pick up just for the night. You want to have a good time then get on with your life. But how can you do this without hurting anyone? Easy, pretend to be a backpacker. Everyone knows what they’re getting into when they hook up with a backpacker.
Guys love reveling in the music of bars and clubs, in the drinks that are served there, with their mates that accompany them there and in the electrifying vibe that is found there. But perhaps the best thing guys like about bars and clubs is that girls go to them too.
If you don’t make it to the SECS Ball never fear, the real party is the afterparty with Kid Kenobi and Surecut Kids laying down the beats at Oh Hello Friday, October 19, 2020. The SECS ball is famous for it’s infamy, so you can imagine what goes on at the afterparty…
Being a party animal is the way to live, however sometimes there is a razor thin line between a big night out to remember, and going a little too far and doing yourself a bit of damage. This party is all about supporting one young gentleman of the latter persuasion.
