All Brisbane venues

The 2011 directory listed Brisbane rooms at /brisbane/all/{venue}/. This page is that city-wide index — every seeded venue, including historical archive cards. Open a precinct when you want a walking map; open a profile for character, then verify the door. Missing ≠ closed.

The 2011 barsandnightclubs.com.au IA put every Brisbane room under /brisbane/all/{venue}. Search listings lived at /search/brisbane/all/. This page keeps that city-wide bucket as a live index — the rooms this rebuild has written, including historical archive cards.

It is not a substitute for standing in Fortitude Valley or walking Boundary Street. If you need geography, open The Valley or West End. The parent editorial is the Brisbane city hub. /brisbane-2/ 301s to that hub. This index is the filing cabinet.

How /brisbane/all/{venue}/ works

Hyphenated /brisbane/all/{venue}/ is canonical. Underscores from the old CMS 301 here. Later precinct-nested paths resolve to this pattern so inbound links still find the room. The precinct hubs stay live as walking maps. They are not the long-term parent.

This list is the honest set of seeded Brisbane profiles. It is not a claim every 2011 name still trades. It is not a scored ranking. Hours belong to the venue.

Precincts are walking maps — the river city splits

Brisbane after dark still orbits two useful answers. Fortitude Valley is the declared entertainment precinct: denser late rooms, club floors, Brunswick Street and Ann Street as the spines. That designation explains the density; it is not a quality score. West End is the courtyard and live-pub alternative south-west of the CBD — a neighbourhood tempo, not a Valley substitute.

Brisbane CBD mixed hotel bars with city pours on the old map. It is not a dedicated precinct page on this rebuild. Compass suburbs (north / east / south / west) are a backlog. Missing ≠ closed.

If you try to read this index as a crawl — Valley floor, West End courtyard, CBD hotel, southside pub — you will spend the night crossing the river. Pick a side on the city hub, then open one or two profiles from this list.

Missing ≠ closed

A Valley name from the 2024 hub may be unmarked because it is still a research item. A West End courtyard may be in the backlog. A CBD hotel bar may never have been rewritten. Those gaps are not closure notices.

A card that appears may still carry archive language — Friday and Saturday events, multi-level floors, courtyard blurbs. That language is historical character. Confirm whether the name still trades before you travel.

How to use this index

  1. Read the Brisbane hub if you have not picked Valley or West End.
  2. Open the matching walking map.
  3. Come here only to find a written profile.
  4. Verify the door on the venue’s own channels.
  5. Drink responsibly. 18+. This site will not invent a cover or a last-drinks time.

No star ratings. The 2011 path stays live so the river city’s register has an honest home — rooms we have written, not a fake live crawl of every historic URL.

How to read a Brisbane card without crossing the river twice

A Valley card belongs beside The Valley walking map — declared entertainment precinct, two spines, a last-floor plan. A West End card belongs beside West End — courtyards and live rooms south-west of the city. A hotel-bar name with no precinct map yet belongs beside the Brisbane hub until a CBD page is written. Do not use this index to invent that CBD page.

/brisbane-2/ 301s to the city hub. Underscore slugs 301 here. Those aliases exist so old inbound links resolve. They are not a second directory with more rooms. Missing ≠ closed: compass suburbs and unverified Valley rooftops are backlog. Present ≠ open: Family’s archive language about Friday and Saturday events is character, not a lineup.

If you open a Valley floor and a West End live room and try to do both after midnight, you have ignored the hub’s comparison table. The river is a real edge. Pick a side.

Valley first-timers is the planning essay for the late strip. This page is the cabinet for the whole city. Use them in order: hub, map, article if you need the pattern, one profile, then the door. Queensland’s other nightlife URLs — Surfers Paradise, Cairns — are different cities. Sharing a state is not a crawl.

18+. Drink responsibly. Hours belong to the venue. This register will not invent a cover to make the Valley look more like a magazine list.

A practical way through this index: if the card is a multi-level Valley floor, read it next to the entertainment-precinct walking map and name a last room before you leave the station. If the card is a West End live listing, read it next to Boundary Street and the river edge. If the card has no precinct essay yet, stop at the Brisbane hub instead of inventing a CBD crawl from hotel names. /brisbane/all/{venue}/ is the filing path either way. Missing a 2024 hub rooftop still means research, not closed. Present Family copy still means archive language, not Saturday’s flyer. Confirm the door. Do not cross the river because two cards looked interesting.
