The Argyle Hotel was both a Sydney hub card and a national featured venue in the 2024 archive.
The old blurb described five diverse bars, a private lounge, a cobblestone courtyard, and a mix of old building / new night — food, beer, wine, cocktails. Reproduced here as historical directory language.
Housed (per that copy) in one of the country’s older commercial buildings, it was framed as a meeting spot rather than a single-room club. Whether that mix of rooms still exists, and on what hours, is out of date until someone checks.
