These days relationships and love are harder to find with sexual partners coming and going. We’re texting instead of writing letters, we’re going for drinks instead of going to dinner and having sex on the first date isn’t taboo anymore. So does going clubbing with a potential partner count as a date nowadays?
My answer is hell no. Yes, I am an old school, class romanticist and I do not think that clubbing counts as a date. And it also doesn’t count as date night for couples.
If a guy asks you clubbing on a date, it’s not a real date. It’s not even a group date. He just wants to hook up with you. If a girl asks you clubbing on a date, she just wants to get drunk to have sex with you.
Yes, you can go clubbing just the two of you, get drunk and have sex, but it does not compare with a traditional date of dinner and some sort of fun activity that doesn’t involve getting sloppy.
If your potential partner asks you to go clubbing as a date, why not suggest something a little nicer to show you still like to have fun but no you’re not easy.
Come on girls! Stop giving the guy the idea that girls just do what boys want.
