Most guys think it would be awesome to be surrounded by women; hot, luscious women who can’t keep their hands to themselves, making said male think he can some sort of threesome going later in the night. Yeah right! There’s a reason why this sort of thinking is called a fantasy, it’s not reality!
Case in point, any guy would think going clubbing with a bunch of girls would not only have him surrounded by chicks, but make him look cool to everyone else at the club. However, what these guys are not taking into consideration is that women are different from men. Not just the obvious physical differences, but their way of thinking and what they talk about. Generally speaking, men like cars, beers and chicks; women like fashion, cocktails and boys. All those examples are the antithesis of one another. There’s a reason why most of your friends are the same gender as you; everyone just simply has more in common with members of their own gender than they do with the opposite sex, no matter how badly you want to root them.
Though going out with chicks would sound good to most guys, in reality it’s quite awkward and even boring. If they’re your sisters for instance, or girls you’re not interested in or can’t have, they just talk absolute crap that bores you nuts, like how good their dress or heels look, or bitch about someone they don’t like. You just want them to be quiet for a moment. They take forever to get ready, partially because of said gasbagging. You can’t act up or pick up around them like you could with your male friends or your brother (I don’t have a brother, so I’m just assuming). They friggin’ take group selfies too, making things more awkward because, though you’re part of the group, we all know it’s a girls activity. Girls will basically go off and do their own thing, leaving the guy out to dry. Of course, guys are guilty of doing this to girls too, but I’m a guy, so frankly I’m only seeing this scenario from a male point of view.
I once went clubbing with my sisters and a female cousin, and on the drive there, they were just talking pure nonsense. That’s not so dumb it’s funny nonsense either; it was just boring crap, and whenever I’d try to join in on the convo, it was like I wasn’t even there. Fortunately, this was just on the drive there and the music at the club didn’t allow for any further bullshit convos anyway, but still.
Point being, this raised the question about whether men and women can go out and have fun without there being any attraction between them? Peeps may say the other person’s just a friend, but there will always be some attraction there. Otherwise, what’s the point?
