From dreading Monday morning to wishing it was Friday afternoon, you have already spent last week’s pay on those gorgeous heels that were teasing you in the window! Or for men, possibly Halo 4 or Black Ops 2 is definitely a crowd pleaser that leaves your wallets rather empty. However, you have a new problem … it has hit Friday and you have no money what-so-ever, what happens now? Your excitement all throughout the week is going to leave you thirsty over the weekend; oh no!
Chances are your friends are going to be drunk and all over the place, and your going to be standing there sober and miserable, unless of course you don’t depend on alcohol to have a good time (Yes … those people do exist).
You know, there are ways around being broke by Friday; many people I know aren’t keen for a good time because they have no money, which just so happens to ruin my happy mood because then I have to convince my friends as to why they will have a good time without being under the influence!
My advice is:
Number 1: Drinking from home is a lot cheaper then buying small ass drinks from the bar which are not worth the money or your time! Wouldn’t you prefer to be socialising instead of wasting precious time waiting in a line that hasn’t moved an inch?
Number 2: If you’re that dedicated to having a drink in your hand when you’re out and about, may I suggest saving some money especially for the weekend? Then you will have money as well as a drink in your hand. It’s a win-win situation!
Number 3: Try a night out without alcohol, you might find you enjoy yourself a lot more, because a) you can remember everything and b) no killer hangover in the morning!
Number 4: I suppose if the unthinkable happens and you need to scramble around for money, begging is becoming an undeniable option. Chances are you should expect a repayment of some sort to wherever you got the money from. Good luck with that one!
Number 5: Simply said, not easily done. GET ANOTHER JOB.
Well there you go, it’s nearly the weekend again! How are your wallets and purses looking? There is always room for improvement, and those weekends will keep on coming (no matter how many people say the world will end).
