The words ‘chivalry’ and ‘nightclub’ are not often paired together, and with good reason. Since the age old beginnings of social drinking settings, etiquette and politeness have never been common when spirits and bar tabs take precedence.
When a bar fight breaks out, most males jump (literally) at a chance to pack a punch for the pretty girl in the corner. But does a bit of blood on your right hand really entice the girl you’re trying to impress at the bar?
Let’s get a ready to rumble! Fight or flight- which shows true chivalry in the nightclub setting? Ding, ding!
Fight:
There’s something both primal and satisfying in physically fighting, or being fought for. Perhaps it links way back to the days when alpha males locked horns for a chance at the female in season, or maybe we just never really progressed that far. Whatever it is that makes a bit of blood and brunt so attractive, chivalry lives in the common bar fight. A guy willing to break his knuckles for a chance to hold your very hand? Dreamy (no matter how that blood feels between your fingers).
Flight:
Fleeing the scene is no longer seen as a sign of weakness. With the progression of society and education, many women find that the true strength of a man lies in the ability to leave a situation- utilising brain power over brawn. A guy who is smart enough to leave a situation when he sees it getting dangerous is a guy who is smart enough to know when to shut up, when to buy you diamonds and when to tuck you in at night. What a keeper!
