I have a birthday coming up (and yes, I am accepting gifts); but unfortunately I have come to the realisation that after your 21st, there’s really nothing left to celebrate—I’m another year older and still have no accomplishments…cool. Brisbane‘s first real rooftop bar has opened and it doesn’t disappoint. Well, if you want to get blind drunk and have a messy night, it’s probably going to disappoint – it’s not that kind of place. Elixir Rooftop Bar is all class. Plus, it’s up three flights of stairs, so you really want your wits about you if you’re wearing heels.
Hip Hop bawsss Nas has been a busy boy lately. Releasing albums, dropping verses on tracks, being generally bad ass and cool, and he even had time to organise a dope as music festival for us down under in April.
Though the computer game phenomenon that is World Of Warcraft has certainly taken over the nerd realm as their favourite pastime, the previous generation of geeks used to play the role playing fantasy game Dungeons and Dragons. They’d do this while the so-called “cool people” who’d mock them would go to bars to get wasted.
