Some people may feel that going out partying for ANZAC Day might be disrespectful to the men and women who died fighting in war serving our country. Yes, many died in the various wars Australia (and New Zealand for that matter) have fought in over the years and that’s terrible, and businesses close for a day just so we can pay our respects to them.
Australia Day celebrates the day all the states and territories united to become one country under the British Commonwealth. So it’s kinda fitting that Chasers got UK DJ Sasha to come Down Under for our national holiday to help us celebrate alongside Australian DJ Anthony Pappa. But rather than dictating how us Aussies run our country, this Pom will be governing the dance floor to tear shit up!
Melbourne peeps are obviously going to want to party hard this upcoming Australia Day long weekend, and Wah Wah Lounge have a trick or two up their sleeve with their Tricky! Tricky! night on Sunday 27 January.
Trick 1: Wah Wah have organised an awesome lineup of DJs playing all the best house and top 40 tunes around to make this night go friggin’ off! Here is said awesome lineup:
You have been summoned by her Royal Majesty The Queen of Hearts to attend the Annual Queen of Hearts Gala, or it’s off with your head! Sunday June 10th, brings upon us one of the largest Melbourne based events outside of the Melbourne Cup races. With over 1200 attendees expected, organisers of the event are certain the night will be a sell out. Hosted for the third time by exclusive club Spice Market
With the Queen’s Birthday Weekend coming up this Monday the 11th of June, we’re certain our Majesty would want nothing more than for us commoners to spend the public holiday with our heads in the toilet throne. What better way to show our respect to the monarchy, after all?
