Tucked away in Stanley Street, Darlinghurst, is Sydney’s latest addition to the small bar scene. Boasting a range of unique drinks that tickle all us alcoholics’ (ahem, we mean ‘occasional drinkers’) tastebuds, The Hazy Rose is another one of those venues that has a cozy atmosphere perfect for catching up with friends in the evening after work.
With a selection of classic cocktails and a host of individual drinks, the menu has just enough flavour for everyone. Drinks like the ‘Stanley Sidecar’ with Cointreau and lemon have a citrus edge, and their whisky sour is garnished with a flamed orange (something we all love). There’s also a range of European and new world wines for all you wine connoisseurs out there.
The Hazy Rose, with its deco inspired design, was transformed from a disused office space and features a mahogany bar made from 80-year-old church pews, and toilet doors recovered from Customs House (a little fun fact to think of on your way to the bathroom).
Located at 83 Stanley Street, Darlinghurst, The Hazy Rose is definitely a must-try the next time you’re in the area.
