They say girls fall in love in what they hear and boys fall in love in what they see, which is why girls wear make up and boys lie. They forgot to mention this extends to the slutty clothes (or lack of clothes in many cases) girls on the prowl for cock wear to get male attention at nightclubs.
Men certainly will ogle them (though they may pretend to be disgusted if their girlfriend’s around), while other women will condemn them as ‘skanks’, ‘hos’, and any of the zillion other words for slut.
Though some girls just call hot girls who know how to flaunt themselves skanks out of jealousy, there are legitimate cases of certain attire that are just plain slutty:
1. Tight short dresses
Perhaps the most common attire for skanks, these simple short dresses well and truly go up to the thigh, show plenty of cleavage, the hem being so short you can see her undies, and are tight enough for guys to know what shape the girl’s body is when she’s naked. Why do these broads wear these dresses? Quite simply, because they’re feminine. Guys don’t really look for tomboys when they go looking for chicks at clubs, and besides breasts and vaginas, nothing says feminine like dresses (unless you happen to be a Scottish guy wearing a kilt). I honestly believe that dresses and skirts were invented (at least in part) for the sake of quickies, so a guy could easily penetrate a girl without her having to take her clothes off. I know girls like to wear dresses because “they’re cute”, but my theory makes sense, doesn’t it?
2. Denim short-shorts and tank tops
Perhaps a bit too casual for some clubs, another slutty thing girls wear are tight tank tops and denim short-shorts. Often these tops don’t cover the shoulders or midriff, while the denim short-shorts tightens the arse, showing off all the glory of their best ass-et. However, often the bottom of the chick’s butt cheeks is seen (not always a pretty sight!) This casual look is very effective; just watch the below clip of Gemma Arterton in Tamara Drewe donning this look and getting everyone’s attention. Interestingly, in the film, as the “arse shot” happens, a woman says ‘She’s pulled herself into those shorts’; incidentally, this is what a lot of guys did after watching this scene.
3. Dresses with big gaps
Worn by the likes of Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian, the slits of these dresses up right up to the waist, their back and shoulders are almost entirely revealed, and pretty much all of the front except the nipples are shown (though I’m sure the milk dispensers are often “accidentally” let out). These are much like the tight dresses listed before, but the main difference are the “fashionable gaps” on the dress, whether it is a diamond-like shape in the front purely to show off cleavage or midriff, or on the side to emphasise on the side of the legs, hips, and of course sideboob. Though dressing like the aforementioned socialites may not necessarily mean you’ll end up on a sex tape like they were, you will certainly get many looks of disapproval and hisses from other females. Like Swiss cheese, these dresses have big gaps; I’m surprised they don’t get called Swiss dresses.
4. Tight black leather clothes
Plenty of attention-seeking females have put one these tight black leather outfits and get the boys drooling. But why does leather have this effect on people? Because of its association with such seemingly immoral social misfits like bikers and dominatrices, leather has come to symbolise rebellion, therefore sexiness. They say girls love the bad boy; the same can be said for the bad girl. It’s quite simply the rush of being with a bad girl who doesn’t give a shit what society or at least other girls think of them; they are completely confident with themselves, and that’s just plain cool. Just look at how Olivia-Newton John’s character Sandy went from goody-goody to leather-clad bad girl in Grease; while that doesn’t exactly send a positive message to young girls out there, it did win over Danny Zuko.
If you have ever wondered exactly how these girls are thinking when they dress so slutty, perhaps this ’80s song by The Waitresses called ‘I Know What Boys Like’ sums it up.
Just think, back in the 1800s, women had to completely cover their bodies up as even showing some hair or their ankle was considered erotic in the same way showing too much cleavage or leg are considered risque today. I wonder if women back then thought women who showed a bit of ankle or wrist were whores, or if seeing one of these got a guy horny enough to pull himself when he got home? Just imagined how he was when he got to see a chick naked!
