For our friends based “over West” in Perth (which I overheard on the plane coming home from Manila happens to be the most remote major city in the world… fascinating!!!), the Ellington Jazz club, which if you happen to live in a cave is Jazz central in Perth.
Perth’s premiere venue for Jazz and live music is ringing in the new year in style with a spirited night and morning of Jazz to absolutely die for. And don’t just take it from me, as a nephew of a premiere Jazz musician on the East Coast, I know what I’m talking about (despite the profile picture in the lower corner of this article!!!
So to ring in the new year with an aura of style and sophistication as opposed to clutching a bottle unconvincingly concealed in a brown paperbag stumbling through a park somewhere), head to the Ellington Jazz Club for an awesome night with:
- Jeremy Gregory (vocals)
- Amanda Dee (vocals)
- Simon Fisenden (bass & vocals)
- Graham Wood (keys)
- Andy Fisenden (drums).
Tickets purchased for the late show will be allowed entry prior to midnight to the upstairs bar (pending capacity) so book early, arrive early to secure yourself a spot at the place to party on NYE in Perth.
