Cho Gao's sheltered outdoor area provides high tables and chairs for smokers and those who enjoy Melbourne's weather. A comfortable setting and dim lighting allow customers to stay as long as they'd like, relaxing in the comfort of the cushioned couches provided, or drinking on the wooden high chairs in or outdoors.
Private functions rooms are also available for reservation at Cho Gao with the intention of a small birthday bash or party, or perhaps just for having a little privacy with your friends.
A mixture of both internationals and locals from their early twenties up to the older crowd in their thirties hang out in this bar, which allows you to chill with friends and colleagues, as well as entertain or meet new people.
Thursday is ladies night at Cho Gao where champagne is one dollar all night! Cho Gao's happy hour provide $6 house spirits, $5 house red and white wines, $5 imported bottle beers and $10 jug of house beers. Happy hour is from 5pm-8pm on Mondays to Thursdays, 5pm-7pm and 9pm-11pm on Fridays, 7pm-10pm on Saturdays and 4pm-7pm on Sundays. Cocktails are priced from $12, if you prefer a nice classic drink of Singapore Sling or Long island Iced Tea presented with style.
