This URL existed on the former barsandnightclubs.com.au site as a news-style post about a Perth nightlife app from the guest-list era around 2011–2014. It is an archive note, not a live download page, not a store listing, and not a claim that AccessVIP, any successor, or any named guest list still works tonight.
We keep the slug so inbound links and old social posts can land somewhere honest. The former magazine homepage mixed city guides with product mentions, pickup-line columns, and “what’s on” blurbs. Republishing that marketing copy as if it were current would mislead readers and operators. This rebuild treats the path as information architecture: a dated mention, then a pointer to how Perth actually works as geography.
What that app era was actually about
Smartphone nightlife products of that period sold a simple promise. Put your name on a list. Skip a queue. See which room was “on.” Some tools were city-specific; some tried to be national. The language on the old site was promotional — “rocking” a city’s clubs — because that is how nightlife media talked when guest-list apps were a novelty.
None of that language survives as a recommendation here. Guest lists are an operator tool. Doors still belong to the venue. A 2011-era app mention does not tell you whether Villa, The Court, or any other Northbridge name is trading this Saturday, what the cover is, or whether a digital list still exists.

Why Perth was the city on the old slug
Perth had a clear late-night gravity well on the 2011 map: Northbridge, immediately north of the railway, walking distance from the CBD. That is why a guest-list product would have been pitched there. A compact club precinct is easier to sell as a list of doors than a city that sprawls across four unconnected suburbs.
The archive also filed Perth CBD rooftops and hotel bars, and Fremantle as a port-town night. Those are different shapes. An app that promised “Perth’s nightclubs” was almost certainly talking about Northbridge floors, not a Fremantle courtyard or a winter rooftop. Collapsing those into one product pitch is how visitors waste a Saturday in a taxi.
Named rooms that appeared around that era — Eve, Villa, The Court, 1 Two 3, Conservatory, and others — sit in this rebuild as historical seeds or a research backlog.
