Specifically, older brothers and younger sisters. Bro-bro and sis-sis combinations are usually killer at clubs because they are the best wingmen ever, but this is not the case for bro-sis club outings. Even after dark with alcohol, older brothers are still power trippers and think they know the best about everything and, I suppose, from their perspective, younger sisters are still annoying (sometimes).
Whenever I go clubbing with my brother, I feel like I am doing humanity a disservice if I don’t warn any girl he talks to that he is SO GROSS and rarely shares his food just so she knows what she is getting into. I don’t though, because if I did I would probably suffer wet willies every day for the rest of my life. Once my brother pulled my hair because I kissed a boy. Mum was not there to mediate.
PROS
– Older siblings feel compelled to buy you drinks and pay for things by the nature of their relationship with you.
– So do their friends.
– Your brother’s friends can’t hit on you no matter what, so the drinks they buy you requires no hook up in return.
– You know that even if you get really drunk and annoying, someone is obliged to look after you and take you home.
– Older siblings are public transport snobs, so you are guaranteed a deso or a taxi.
– If they do something embarrassing, you’ll be there to witness it and use it for blackmail later.
CONS
– Brothers will question every single boy you talk to or walk past or dance near or look at.
– If any boys know you are with your brother, you can forget about being picked up or getting any hits. They will run a mile.
– If you are out with your brother’s friends, he has reinforcements to do his dirty work.
– You can’t dance how you wanna dance.
– They sometimes want to hit on your friends. R.I.P. friendship.
– Your friends sometimes think they are hot and want to reciprocate the hit.
– They wanna boss you around like they do at home.
