Usually when Melbourne clubbers think of Billboard, they think of house and trance music on Thursday nights. But on Thursday 28 February, that most definitely won’t be the case. Heavy metal band Bring Me The Horizon will be playing a gig there and will tear the shit out of any house lovers thinking they’re going to their typical Thursday night clubbing session!
Usually around the end of the year, compilation albums like So Fresh or Ministry Of Sound will be released and music video shows will play the hottest 50 songs with all the musical highlights of the past season or year on a CD (or digital download if you think CDs are “so 2001!”). You obviously enjoyed these songs if you brought the album, so you’d friggin’ love it live at a nightclub!
Love is certainly in the air at Marquee this year, so much so that they’re celebrating Valentine’s Day nearly a week early with their Naughty Or Nice Mega Party night on Saturday 9 February.
Longroom regulars Down and Dirty are heading back to this fab bar to bring us a night of all the latest and greatest RnB tunes known to man for their upcoming Australia Day Holiday Eve night on Sunday 27 January.
Don’t stay cooped up, in doors, on what’s predicted to be a cool Australia Day in Melbourne-head down to Temperance Hotel for a sweltering beach party!
Featuring DJs Nik M, Le Soul and Chris Ng on the decks, on the night, to bring in one helluva night of Aussie celebration.
Just because The Key Club love you all and Melbourne so much, this Australia Day it’ll be inviting you to its second Edition of the Key Club special.

Australia Day celebrates the day all the states and territories united to become one country under the British Commonwealth. So it’s kinda fitting that Chasers got UK DJ Sasha to come Down Under for our national holiday to help us celebrate alongside Australian DJ Anthony Pappa. But rather than dictating how us Aussies run our country, this Pom will be governing the dance floor to tear shit up!

I have no idea what Mothership is or what it stands for or if it is going to be good. I’m even unsure if this hype and mystery is intended or whether it is just the result of a disorganised management team.
Men and women have a vastly different sense of humour; men like fart jokes and women like actual wit. Cushion Lounge are very much aware of this difference between guys and gals, and will soon be launching their Ladies Lounge stand up comedy night that will happen on the last Thursday of every month.
