But Reds is far from lost in the music and mayhem, featuring a red carpet entrance (yes, a theme is starting to emerge) to lead you inside its electric escape where hours seem like days and the beats never stops.

In a town where just about everyone and anyone can open a bar, the Electric Light Hotel strives for something a little different. Gone are the days of focusing on one style of music or bowing to the knees of a particular club goer. Today's club needs to adhere to everyone and all their needs. The Electric Light Hotel was founded in 1901 by Sir Arthur Toynbee, a philandering virtuoso with a soft spot for a quiet ale. Setting up next to Adelaide's first and only power station, he spent most nights entertaining the many workers with various impressions and stories. It is also recorded that he in1908 coined the phrase 'electric boogaloo'. With a new structural overhaul and massive renovations, the Electric Light Hotel continues his vision.
