I never understood this festival. Why Bendigo? Yeah okay, there are people in the bush who would like to go to a festival too please, but this is just such an odd inconvenience. It is one day, they are not even inviting you for a sleepover in Bendigo. I don’t want to go and ‘groove in the moo’, that sounds gross and dirty. Cows are freaky. Are there even going to be cows there? I’m skeptical.
Anyway, festival organisers have obviously tried really hard to give you many reasons to find this type of festival socially acceptable and have put together a not bad line up for indie groovers. I sort of feel like this is the compensation package of playlists for anyone who missed all the other festivals over the summer. You got a bit of BDO in there, some Falls, Laneway, Falls 2011/2012, and even Stereosonic. That’s nice.
