Melbourne sister act Stonefield are joining forces with Owl Eyes at The Station, NSW to bring you and your Snowy Mountain mates a taste of what Melbourne music is all about. Spreading indie rock isn’t the only thing this band-pair will be doing- with the groups dedicating the tour to The Line- an organisation which encourages respectful relationships between young people.
Amy Findlay of Stonefields spoke of the importance of regional gigs in a recent interview, commenting on just how these events can encourage positive behaviour.
“I feel like out in the regional places they don’t always get a lot of live music or get an opportunity to get out to a lot of venues or anything like that so it will be nice to take our music and The Line’s message there and spread it around a bit. It will be quite special,” Findlay said.
Tickets to this event are setting the Snowy Mountains afire at just $15 a pop. Why not head on down for the on the 8th of August and support a worthy cause with your mates- that is positive behaviour after all!
