If you’re not into fast cars, smokin’ grid girls, hot drivers, or motocross stunt shows, there is still something at the Melbourne Grand Prix this year that will get your engine revving (sorry, couldn’t help myself!) What I’m talking about is the Sidetracked Music Festival which will be taking place on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th March 2012.
The festival will take place at turn 6 within the grounds of Melbourne’s Albert Park circuit, and features incredible local and international music acts, including DJ’s and live bands such as the Potbelleez, Flo Rida and Ruby Rose.
This two-day festival combines a love of Formula 1 and great music; enjoy the thrills of watching the Porsche Carrera Cup, Qualifying Session and the V8 Supercars Challenge, while listening to the pumping sounds of Art vs Science, Grant Smillie, The Stafford Brothers and Timmy Trumpet.
Tickets for this one-of-a-kind event cost $105 for Saturday and $114 for Sunday. These prices include the general admission for the Grand Prix. If you’ve already got tix but want to upgrade to include the festival - that’ll set you back $20 for the Saturday and $15 for the Sunday.
