Australia’s live music venue leader The Hi-Fi is opening a new state-of-the-art venue in Sydney this month. Located in the Moore Park Entertainment Quarter, Sydney is getting ready to host music artists in style. The Hi-Fi Sydney will launch it’s inaugural show on February 28 with synth pop rockers Cobra Starship headlining. Following on March 14 will be a huge all-star line-up official launch party.
For over 15 years The Hi-Fi in Melbourne and Brisbane have been providing Australians with the best live acts. International acts including Foo Fighters, Muse, The Strokes, Mos Def and Bloc Party while outstanding local artists such as Powderfinger, You Am I, Hilltop Hoods, The Living End and Birds of Tokyo have all performed on Hi-Fi stages. Sydney will expand Hi-Fi to three premier live music venues along the east coast.
Hi-Fi Managing Director Luke O’Sullivan said “the addition of a Sydney venue completes and consolidates the Hi-Fi’s standing as Australia’s leading live venue operator.”
“We have been wanting to open a venue in Sydney for years but we had to find the right venue, at the right time,” he said.
The Hi-Fi Sydney has a total capacity of 1400, which can be adapted depending on the act. With its cutting edge sound, lighting and production systems, The Hi-Fi provides the ultimate live music experience.
