Metal band Seether have begun their tour of Australia’s club circuit tonight at Perth’s Rosemount Hotel promoting their latest album Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray. This is the South African group’s third tour of Oz since their first in 2005 and second in 2008, and the group are excited to be back to play for Aussie crowds.
If you are not familiar with the band, they could be considered as South Africa’s answer to Nickelback (this isn’t much of a stretch, considering Seether supported Nickelback on their 2009 Dark Horse tour). But now Seether are hear to get their tunes out there without the help of the Paddlepop Lion lookalike known as Chad Kroeger. Though Seether won’t be playing in stadiums this time around, the venues their gigs are at are still pretty top notch.
On this new tour, fans will get to hear all the band’s hits they made ever since their formation in 1999, but of course plenty of their new stuff, such as the singles ‘Tonight’ and ‘Country Song’, will be what will be played most.
