RnB/Soul sensations Soul II Soul are making a triumphant return to Australia, playing at Track Live Lounge Bar in Melbourne, Friday 24th of February 2012. A regular on the UK and US chart during the 90′s, this will be the 2nd visit in recent memory by the group since heading down here in 2009.
Rising to prominence with 1989′s worldwide chart-topping classic Back To Life (However Do You Want Me), Soul II Soul went on to achieve platinum status in the UK and US with their debut album Club Classics Volume One, and spawning a second chart topping single in Keep On Moving.
Continuing their success through the 90′s, the group has maintained a relatively low profile since 1997, with the man who started the group, Jazzie B going solo, working with a number of household names including the likes of Public Enemy, Isaac Hayes, a personal favourite of mine NAS as well as Destiny’s Child as a DJ, Producer and Remixer.
For those of you continue to follow Soul II Soul with a sense of nostalgia, saddened by the direction of music today, this is your chance to listen to the group who’s lyrics and style were able to unite people of all colours and races.

And below is the track that catapulted them to the mainstream. Whether you’ve been a dedicated fan, or only no about them from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, the music world is a better place having these guys in it.
