As a Gold Coast local I must admit I am much more familiar with the Gold Coast’s clubbing scene than Brisbane’s, but nonetheless I feel as though I can give a decent and unbiased review of which area has the better nightlife. In saying this it all depends on what you’re after, be it convenience, a cheap night out, or musical preferences. There are a few factors that set apart one from the other so here is a pro cons list for you.
There’s no surprise here at Bars And Nightclubs that the Gold Coast is going to celebrate New Years Eve with a big bang, and two of the GC’s hottest clubs, Love Nightlife in Broadbeach and Club Boutique in Surfers Paradise, are going all out with their awesome parties that will make the start of the new year a night to remember.
On the Gold Coast, Schoolies is a time of dread for the majority of locals. Cocktails are a given at pretty much all bars and nightclubs in Australia, so it is no small feat for Gold Coast bar and restaurant Black Coffee Lyrics to stand out amongst all that competition to win the Monkey Shoulder Whiskey competition for its Brass Monkey Flip cocktail.
Dubbing itself “a forward thinking electronic music event”, Secret Garden at Platinum could be considered to electronic music lovers what wine tasting events is to wine lovers. Believing that the subtle nuances of electronic music here will be appreciated by electro music aficionados who know the music’s all about creating that harmony and the atmosphere clubbing is all about,
It’s DJ Pauly D! And he is GTL-ing down under while also bringing his DJ skills to entertain Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, and the Gold Coast! With his first visit to Australia, he expects to have a great and memorable time. So get off your asses, let’s show him one!
Which do you prefer, dark and mysterious clothing or angelic and pure clothing? You better make up your mind because Melbas is hosting a black and white cocktail party to celebrate New Year’s Eve.
Lost your identity? That’s O.K because the Sin City nightclub is hosting a masquerade theme party and you can pretend to be anyone you want! Count down into the big New Year of 2013 with a sexy mask that will hide your face and party
Being in warm, sunny Queensland, the Gold Coast is not a place that comes to mind when you think of Christmas, a time of year (according to the Yanks) that’s full of snow, fireplaces and caroling to your neighbours (gotta feel sorry for them!).
