There are some weird bars in Australia, some of which are well known, whereas others are more of a “you know them if you know them” kind of situation.
Here are 4 of Australia’s most unusual bars:
‘Do I sound drunk?’ Well, if you have to ask, the answer is yes. When you’re drunk, and trying not to seem drunk you tend to try and use words that are more ‘sophisticated’, so that you don’t seem drunk. You might say that you imbibe drinks, instead of drinks, or that ‘commode’ instead of bathroom.
I have a birthday coming up (and yes, I am accepting gifts); but unfortunately I have come to the realisation that after your 21st, there’s really nothing left to celebrate—I’m another year older and still have no accomplishments…cool. So, I’ve decided, that the only way you can guarantee that your day will still be awesome after 21, is to obviously host a killer birthday party.
There are some guys out there who make a lot of effort to present themselves well for a night out, but is that really what girls are interested in? If a guy comes and introduces himself to you, you are going to judge based on what he is wearing. When he starts to make conversation, you find that he is completely in love with himself. Attractive? I think not.
Whenever I go out to nightclubs, I always notice that there are different types of clubbing personalities out there. People perceive the clubbing scene in different ways; it can all depend on their mood, their personality and what they’re into as well.
Okay, so most of us have been in that awkward position where we’re out at a nightclub or bar with one of our friends, and then next minute some random guy approaches her and they start talking. At that point, you’re just lingering there, trying not to interfere, but at the same time, you feel exactly like Dupree (from the movie You, Me And Dupree),
I’ve always found it amusing to observe the 18 year old spring chickens who are finally legal to drink publicly (not behind closed doors anymore!) and go all out with their drinking antics, just to make the most of this new exciting age of theirs. I mean, you only get to be 18 for 365 days in your life, before the novelty of being a newbie adult slowly starts to wears off as you get older.
Throwing a party is never easy; organising a guest list, food and drinks let alone a place to have can be stressful and expensive. What makes it worse is that the threat of gatecrashers. In our modern age of Facebook events and open invitations, your party has become evermore visible to the general public and the prospect of free stuff is too much for some to handle.
Dancing in a club is similar to a mating dance of a majestic Peacock. If you don’t have the moves, you probably won’t get the girl. Okay, maybe that’s a little overdramatic.
Girls are more subtle about their want to pick up, but this does not mean that they are not as keen as guys. It is obvious in the way she has styled her hair, planned her outfit, put on more makeup than usual and thought carefully about how drunk she intends to get. Unfortunately, we grew up in a world that believes it is the guys that have to work for the girl, but is this still the case?
