There’s always going to be these kinds of people, no matter where you are. You could be at a bar, on the streets, at a concert - it doesn’t matter. There is always going to be people who have a ‘pill face’. And it’s really fun to spot them because, let’s face it, they don’t hide it very well, especially first timers.
While we love to go out clubbing with our partner (drunk sex afterwards) and we love to go out clubbing with our best friend (crazy dancing and hilarious memories), is it okay to mix the two together and go clubbing with both of them? Obviously your best friend will be a third wheel, but when you have your two favourite people in the world with you, it should be all fun right?
Have you ever been out partying when the DJ calls your name and says: “(Insert name here), this song is dedicated to you!” – after which one of the most embarrassing songs in history comes blaring through the speakers?
Though I’m sure many bouncers out there would be fed up with the nightclub scene as it’s just work for them and not fun like it is for everyone else, plenty of them would love to go out and have a great night out too. They are human too (believe it or not). But like when having to deal with a bouncer at the door, there’s a lot of shit you have to put up from them when going clubbing with them too.
Yet another inaugural fail in our series of articles focusing of the alcohol induced stupidity that happens on any good night out on the town. If you want to submit a video, post in on YouTube (as you do) and send the link to matt(at)barsandnightclubs.com.au. Enjoy!
“Johnson’s Friend”, “Pink Colgate”, “Jar Jar Jam” – these are just some of the street names given to ‘Bungle’, a popular gel like designer drug that has been making the round in Perth’s nightlife scene for the past six or so weeks. Coloured pink and with a consistency similar to children’s toothpaste, Bungle is a very expensive disassociate/upper that has become the fashionable drug of choice for Perth’s young and rich.
When asking a buddy what they did on the weekend and they tell you they got down and dirty clubbing, the follow up question is usually ‘did you hook up?’. Chatting up a sizzling hot number in the club is an integral and exciting part of the experience, but why is it so common out on a Friday night at a bar or on a dance floor and not at a local footy match or supermarket?
I watched the Adam Sandler movie That’s My Boy the other night, bloody hilarious too! Well, it’s comedic genius compared to Sandler’s previous movie, the utterly pathetic Jack And Jill. The movie starts off with a young Adam Sandler having an affair with his hot high school teacher, and not only does everyone find out, she got preggers too!
Dear Guy Friends,
You may not know who you are. What I mean is, you might not be aware you fit into the category of ‘guy friend’ or what qualities even make a guy friend.
