Future Music is an all day event of endless doosh doosh music and shirtless gym junkies showing off their ripped chest and chicken legs. So a good time for all then. But something that often gets neglected to be mentioned is all the drinking that everyone will be doing. Granted, it’s all about the music, but still.
Hip Hop bawsss Nas has been a busy boy lately. Releasing albums, dropping verses on tracks, being generally bad ass and cool, and he even had time to organise a dope as music festival for us down under in April.
I feel like it might be a good idea for over 18s to boycott this festival and just go to it like it were overage. This is socially scandalous, I know, but like omg the line up is so great. Also, we need to make up for lost territory in the overage/underage war. Underagers get in on everything and it’s not fair.
Funking hell! Bedlam Bar have brought back Ain’t It Funky for another free underground party with all the funk you could ask for. With musical genres like from soul to hip hop to disco, breaks, and boogie under its wing, funk has a lot going for it.
Australian synth-pop band Clubfeet are stoked about the upcoming release of their latest album Heirs & Graces and playing their brand new beats to Sydney‘s party people at the Oxford Art Factory. Clubfeet have toured through America, England, South Africa, and now they’re back in their native Australia to show us what made them so rad overseas.
Usually when Melbourne clubbers think of Billboard, they think of house and trance music on Thursday nights. But on Thursday 28 February, that most definitely won’t be the case. Heavy metal band Bring Me The Horizon will be playing a gig there and will tear the shit out of any house lovers thinking they’re going to their typical Thursday night clubbing session!
