We all upload and share photos from our mobiles of our crazy nights out clubbing on Facebook and Instagram to show off how hard we party to everyone. Now the peeps at Muroapp.com have made this even easier by creating the awesome app that is Muro!
Usually when Melbourne clubbers think of Billboard, they think of house and trance music on Thursday nights. But on Thursday 28 February, that most definitely won’t be the case. Heavy metal band Bring Me The Horizon will be playing a gig there and will tear the shit out of any house lovers thinking they’re going to their typical Thursday night clubbing session!
Lovers of trashy TV will have an [insert Cockney accent] absolutely smashing time with Marquee‘s guests of honour: Charlotte and James from Geordie Shore!!! That’s right, England’s answer to Jersey Shore are, like the First Fleet, heading all the way to Australia to bake in the sun and party hard away from dreary old England.
Though the name might give off a ’70s vibe, Boogie 7 is anything but a gig for those wanting to relive the days of disco and perms. It is in fact a folksy music festival happening in the small Victorian town of Tallarook, just over 100km from Melbourne.
Usually around the end of the year, compilation albums like So Fresh or Ministry Of Sound will be released and music video shows will play the hottest 50 songs with all the musical highlights of the past season or year on a CD (or digital download if you think CDs are “so 2001!”). You obviously enjoyed these songs if you brought the album, so you’d friggin’ love it live at a nightclub!
One thing we can expect every summer are a heap of festivals, so therefore plenty of top live music acts ready to play for tons of people. The St Kilda Festival is happening this weekend, and at the heart of it is The Espy, always up for a great party. And what a party it has lined up this year!
Love is certainly in the air at Marquee this year, so much so that they’re celebrating Valentine’s Day nearly a week early with their Naughty Or Nice Mega Party night on Saturday 9 February.
If you’re driving to a nightclub on Friday or Saturday night, you’ve probably put on the car radio and listened to all the pumping tunes playing over the airwaves and hearing peeps requesting songs and doing shout outs to their pals. Kinda makes you jealous, right?
Though the computer game phenomenon that is World Of Warcraft has certainly taken over the nerd realm as their favourite pastime, the previous generation of geeks used to play the role playing fantasy game Dungeons and Dragons. They’d do this while the so-called “cool people” who’d mock them would go to bars to get wasted.
Longroom regulars Down and Dirty are heading back to this fab bar to bring us a night of all the latest and greatest RnB tunes known to man for their upcoming Australia Day Holiday Eve night on Sunday 27 January.
