When planning a good night out, it is vital one always be aware of a certain nightlife nemesis that may strike at any given time. The trick in conquering your enemy is to know them. Here are a few common bad guys known for roaming the nights where liquor is flowing and fists are pumping.
The Werewolf
Those human beings that get loud and immortal after they’ve left the club and are howling into the night and intimidating even their shadow. If you are unlucky enough to make eye contact with such a creature, give recognition, compliment, laugh and say farewell with your hope they have a good night. If this fails… Um, Usain bolt out of there! No good will come out of mixing it up with such a beast.
Tricky Taxi Man
You’re tired, and your outfit is too expensive for you to be bumming on a bench waiting for the trains to start running because you had to stay to dance to “yo jam” and missed the last one. Calling a cab is usually plan “F” when you’re “Fed-Up” and “Freezing” and want to embrace the sheets of your bed “Fast”. When winter has come and the Taxi finally arrives, you defended your honour by confirming the name arranged for pick up and beating the other peasants back with your glare of ownership. If you are unable to negotiate a good deal for dropping off you and your posy individually then make sure the Tricky Taxi Man turns the meter on, otherwise last man out will most likely be ripped off.
The Tired You
FIGHT IT! Whatever you do, FIGHT IT! So you’ve had a good night and are ready to catch some Zs, but for the sake of Sensible You, fight it until you’re home, or at least in your street. When all energy is depleting and you can hear the mental beep screaming “1%, recharge now”, the worst thing you can do is sleep before you’re home. There is a very high chance you will go into total dead mode where your guard is completely down and even your mobile is vulnerable. Unless you wanted the early birds on the train to go through your selfies and secret twerk attempts?
