So we’ve all been there. That time you got really drunk and kissed a stranger at a club. What’s even worse is when you can remember just how bad they were at kissing. Kissing isn’t something that we are taught at school (or even encouraged to do at school), but something that we kind of pick up on the way.
Everyone has their own style of kissing and likes to be kissed in different ways. There is no right or wrong way of kissing, but their is a certain etiquette to it. Kissing is something that gets better with practice (so pucker up lads and ladies). Here are a few rules to kissing that I believe will help any young lad score with his lady friend.
Firstly: DO NOT HAVE BAD BREATH! This is first and foremost the golden rule to playing tonsil hockey. No one wants to kiss someone who smells like they have just eaten fish or drunk sour milk. Although you can’t always carry a toothbrush out to a club with you (or can you?), it is wise to always carry some sort of chewing gum or breath mint. If neither of these are around, drink a few glasses of water to wash down the toxins in your mouth and maybe a class of creaming soda or something yummy that girls won’t mind tasting when they are locking lips with you.
Secondly: Too much tongue is too much! There is nothing worse than coming up for air and having saliva all around your mouth from the boy you’ve just been kissing (gross!). Suss out the girls kissing style before you stick your tongue down her throat, she may not even like tongue at all.
Thirdly: Do not grope a girl’s body while you are sucking face. Place your hands around her waist or one hand on her face (two is almost restricting her air) and one hand on her back. Nothing is tackier than two people macking on the dance floor with the guys hands all over her butt!
And finally: Do not hold the girl as a prisoner. If she’s not feeling the kiss, you will know. If you feel her pull away, let her go. Also, don’t kiss for too long. A girl’s gotta breathe and come up to reapply lippy to her now chapped lips.
