The way to a girl’s heart in a club is to buy her a drink, or two. Girls love nothing more than having the attention on them and feeling special by that handsome boy purchasing her liquids. However, getting their drinks bought for them, is not something that comes naturally for all girls.
Boys aren’t stupid (well, most aren’t). They know when a girl is into them or just using him to buy her drinks all night. Which is why girls need to be savvy in choosing the right guy to flirt with to score a free drink (who knows, he might be the one!). I’m not saying flirt with every second boy to have your drinks bought all night, but one drink never hurt.
Act interested in what the boy is saying. Nod politely when he’s telling of his work/school/mate drama. Ask him how that makes him feel and if there’s anything you can do. He will think you are being sincere and really care which will make him want to be around you. Ask him questions. Nothing says you’re listening like being engaged with the conversation by saying, ‘Does your mate Johnny work on the site with you too?’. He will realise you’ve listened to what his friends are called and where he works.
Ask if he would like to go to the bar to sit down and chat. He might then take this opportunity to shout you a drink. However, don’t expect he will pay. Go to grab your wallet and he will do the gentlemanly thing by offering. Take the offer!
Offer to buy him a drink next time. It’ll show there ‘might’ be a next time and he will think you are lovely for offering.
If there is one golden rule, it’s don’t go out expecting to be bought drinks. Boys will only buy you drinks if he is keen on you and gets the vibe back from you. If you wander around asking to be bought drinks, you’ll look desperate. Guys are there to have fun as much as girls are, so don’t ruin their night by being a moody bitch because he didn’t buy you a drink.
If all else fails, flick those locks and flash those pearly whites, what boy can resist!
