Though the name might give off a ’70s vibe, Boogie 7 is anything but a gig for those wanting to relive the days of disco and perms. It is in fact a folksy music festival happening in the small Victorian town of Tallarook, just over 100km from Melbourne.
Going for three days, the lineup ought to be impressive, and it is:
Kitty, Daisy & Lewis
Tony Joe White
Henry Wagons and His Grand Ole Boogvegas Spectacle
Velociraptor
Don Walker & The Suave Fucks
Good Heavens
Little Bastard
Jeremy Neale
Super Wild Horses
Benjamin Francis Leftwich
The Leftwich
The Preatures
Mother & Son
Dirt Farmer
Boogie 7 starts on Friday 29 March at 2pm and concludes on Monday 1 April at 12pm. Both providing alcohol and letting you BYO booze (see their guidelines), Boogie 7 is in fact encouraging us to drink up as much as our livers will take in order to get crazy! Sweet!
Tix are available at Oztix, and are $193.30 for anyone over 15 and $76.50 for those aged between 8-15 (not too shabby if you ask me!).
