Though many readers of this website are probably too young to like or even know who some of these bands are, those who do enjoy ’80s Aussie rock will be stoked about this year’s lineup for A Day On The Green. With all their gigs taking place at wineries, you can just imagine all the gorgeous views of green meadows to admire while hearing the tunes of yesteryear.
Just take the following classic Aussie acts who will be playing:
Hoodoo Gurus
The Angels
Baby Animals
James Reyne
Boom Crash Opera
A Day On The Green is sure to be a fantastic, easygoing yet energetic show full with all the pub rock you heard growing up, whether it was when these songs were new or when your parents listened to them on one of their old fogie radio stations. Though the venues might be a bit of a hike from town, just think of it as that weekend in the country you’ve been wanting to do for ages, with the additional entertainment of good music.
