Club 209 Review

Let's start this review by pointing out that anyone who dismisses this club because it is way out West, in the heart of Campbelltown has obviously never been there. In addition, anyone who has never been there is missing out on a top night out.

Given it's location, about 45 minute drive from the city centre, Club 209 is definitely the premiere local venue for Campbelltown clubbers. Although it is out of the way, make no mistake of it this is not a pub with music... This is 100% nightclub and a good one at that! The lighting and sound system is awesome, drink service is quick and it's no wonder why people from Campbelltown converge on this bar on the weekend.

Servicing people of all ages, this venue attracts some of the West's best DJ's, playing a variety of Hip Hop and commercial tracks on Friday and Saturday nights, with revellers partying the night away till the early morning. Situated not too far from Campbelltown's infamous Catholic Club (Don't let the name fool you trust me this place is not for the "pure") it's almost a ritual having a few cheap drinks and heading down to Club 209.

What is amazing about this place is the complete lack of pretention. Dress code is pretty relaxed and one gets the feeling that everyone is out to have a good time, which, can't be said for some of the clubs in the city centre. Once more, the drinks are pretty bloody cheap which is brilliant if you are on a tight budget. br>
Whilst it might not be worthwhile to trek out there from the city, if you are not a local, but out there on Friday or Saturday night wondering what to do, then don't be shy to head down to Queen Street and have a look see.
