Located in the heart of the city, The Republic Hotel is home to a multipurpose venue. Offering four levels, The Republic Hotel is your perfect place for after work CBD drinks, have an amazing lunch on level 4, hire out level 3 for any function need you might have or simply enjoy some amazing bar food with friends as you watch the football. Closed on the weekend this is your perfect after work city bar.

The Republic Hotel offers it's main bar on entry street level. This is where most of the action takes place. This is the kind of bar you would only go to if you worked in buildings around the venue and your wearing a suit. The main bar not only serves you any drink you want but also some amazing bar food. With daily specials and other dishes such as salt and pepper squid. You can always count on The Republic Hotel for a quick lunch while ducking out of the office or even a bite to eat while you sink some schooners after work. Not to mention the Sydney Morning Herald Food Guide lists their burgers as one of the best in Sydney. The interior is nothing too elaborate with tables and stools, comfy chairs and couches and also outdoor seating is available.

The function lounge is the perfect place to host a birthday, business drinks, a sit down lunch or a Melbourne cup function. With the end of the year fast approaching bookings for the function level are starting to triple. With an amazing interior, antique furniture and old chandeliers you feel like you have walked into a VIP party.

Level 4 is home to The Republic Hotel dining. Enjoy a modern French cuisine with an extensive wine list to accompany your meal. Make sure you book because lunchtime is busy on level 4 and you wouldn't want to miss out. With Main courses around the $35 mark, its evident you will be fine dining. The menu changes monthly so no one is ever disappointed.

Drink prices are quite expensive in comparison to a local RSL or pub, however they are just relative for the area of the bar and with all of the bars located close by. Bar food is cheap and not to mention really good. Daily cheap meal deals are available as well as a large variety of gourmet food.

Walk into the bar at 6pm and you will have to yell to hear your friend on the other side of the small table, however as soon as 8pm rolls around you will be able to simply relax, have a few drinks and listen to some groovy jazz music. Thursday and Friday nights heaves with suited workers celebrating the weekend again.
