That’s right, love is no longer the battlefield. The physical pain of clubbing, in my books, has over taken the wounds of love. Yes, love hurts, but has love ever kicked you in the foot while wearing ten shot heels? Has love ever elbowed you in the tit or punched you in the face? Poked an eye out?
How long does it take you to get dressed when you head out for a night on the town?
The guys may not take as long as the girls, because they claim that there is no need to get too dressed up. Just chuck on a clean shirt and some pants is all they have to do.
Gatecrashers have a bad name, literally. ‘Gatecrasher’ sounds just awful. And often those associated with the name are pretty awful themselves. They show up unannounced and unexpected and potentially ruin the party for everyone. It’s plain not on. Right? Well perhaps there are times it’s ok.
Throwing a party is one of the most exciting/nerve-wracking events one can have (next to a wedding, of course). Planning the perfect party can take days/weeks/months and can be very time consuming. Don’t you hate it when unwelcome idiots intrude in on your party and spoil it for everyone, especially if it’s someone you know and aren’t friends with? And by friends, I mean the original definition of the word in that it’s someone you’re close to, not a so-called “friend” on Facebook you haven’t seen in three or more years.
At some point in your life, you will either attend a house party or host one. Personally, attending one is the better option, just think - no stress, no responsibility, zero care for anything, and no lecture in the morning (if you live with your ‘rents). BONUS!
Wouldn’t we all love to sit around a tropical paradise all day long, drinking daiquiris on the beach and enjoying the collective festive attitude? Well, if that sounds like Cuba to you (minus the Communism), then if you’re from Brisbane, just head over to
