Oh my freakin’ God! Aussie rock festival Soundwave have just announced their lineup for their 2013 shows, and it looks amazing! I know that’s a huge call to make considering other big festivals like Parklife, Stereosonic and Big Day Out have got top lineups too, but what can I say, I’m a rock fan through and through.
Released months earlier than in previous years, the 2013 line up for the mother of Australian music festivals The Big Day Out has been revealed. Though there aren’t as many Aussie acts on this year due to BDO’s cutting costs, it is still one heck of a line up.

New websites seem to be popping up all over the place these days (think those damn groupons), offering the same thing under a different brand. Eventually you get immune to it and stop caring.
Like it’s fellow Aussie counterpart Parklife recently did, Stereosonic has announced its lineup for its 2012 shows in December. This year’s summer event is sure to yet again kick arse and get the ravers of Australia losing their shit to the beat when the DJs they know and love spin that vinyl like crazy.
There are oodles of gigs, concerts, music events and performances happening at the moment. Every newspaper, website, TV and Radio station seems to be plugging a live music event or a comeback tour. This time around it’s our pals S-Club 7, telling us ‘don’t stop movin’. The band, who’s stint on the sound circuit lasted as little as 12 months in the late 1990s
In the words from one of their own songs “Backstreet’s Back!”…yes they are. Not only will Brian, Nick, Houghie, AJ and Kevin be touring Australia as the Backstreet Boys but they will be joining NKOTB (that’s New Kids On The Block for those of you not down with boy-band lingo). That’s right, in what can only be described as boy-band overload
Who ever said the best things in life are free, was right; you just can’t beat free! If your purse strings are a bit tight this week, don’t worry – you can still have somewhat of a social life, as I’ve come up with a list of free events happening around Australia this week.
Not a dairy brand, Creamfields is soon to start its third annual dance music festival to go around Australia once again to let Aussie ravers throughout most of this country’s fine cities par-tay! Having an internationally renown DJ like David Guetta headlining alone will get plenty of ravers flocking to Creamfields, guaranteeing every
