WARNING: The following actions are not considered appropriate or legal. In other words, don’t try this at home folks.
1. THE BACK ENTRY CHECK
First of all, to get into the club you need an entry that is not guarded by scary men with huge muscles. There is almost always a back entry for emergency evacuations, but maybe it may not be the best option. Some doors are alarm triggered, because they are only for emergency use, so be aware.
2. THE “I KNOW THE OWNER” LINE
Approach the security guard casually. If you’re a girl, you can push out your chest, if you must. Hand over your ID and casually walk up to reception. This tactic requires you to be deceiving and convincing. State, “Hey… I totally know the owner and he said to go right on in”. Only problem with this is that the owner may be a ‘she’ or there may not be only one owner. Never try to guess the name of the owner, because there are simply too many names in the English language to be able to guess it correctly.
3. THE SEXY DRUNK APPEAL
Most clubs on the Gold Coast refuse entry to anyone who is drunk or unorderly, so best not to try this approach. For some hidden back door clubs, looks is what gets you into the clubs. A sexy dress and a tipsy girl will always win over a bouncer at these sorts of clubs, so give it a try. Stay in a group of girls too, because girls should always travel in packs when clubbing.
4. THE CELEBRITY
For this stunt, you need a partner to help out with your plan. Dress up and wear some sunnies. Act like you’re really prominent compared to everyone else. Boys can act as an upcoming boy band member and get a bunch of screaming girls to help out with setting the scene (this can become too cliché though). For girls, it is great to act like a pop queen and get really angry or annoyed when they say, “You are not on the list”. A typical reply would be “How can I not be on the list? Are you kidding me? Do you know who I am?”.
5. DART FOR IT!
If all else fails, it is time to break some rules. Just run as hard as you can towards the entrance and hope that when you get in that you can hide in the crowd. Therefore, it is best not to try this attempt early on in the night, because there won’t be many people in the club, making it a little hard to escape security.
6. GUEST LIST
The best is saved for last. If you want to get into a club, the best way to do so is by getting on the guest list. Simply calling up before you head out is a major time saver. If you can’t get on the list, try saying you’re a plus one, but it is best to do things legally and in a safe manner. Staying out of trouble can save a night out from becoming a disaster.
