Everyone may have the long weekend off, but school’s not out at The Marquee Club on Labour Day Eve with its School Uniform Party. Not quite the Year 12 formal all over again, everyone gets to dust off their old school uniform and show off their school spirit (despite having probably hated wearing uniform back in the day). From the more casual black pants and ugly coloured jumper with your school’s logo, or the prim and proper blazer and tie of the private school you went to, it’s all fair go here.
You can bet many of the uniforms are sleazy imitations of school uniforms from Sexyland and other such shops to let kinky people live out their naughty schoolgirl or headmaster fantasy. At least it’s good for a perv. But if you wear your actual school’s uniform, not only is it a bit more unique, but who knows, maybe someone who went to your school will spot you and you’ll get to catch up with someone you haven’t seen in years (this would be even better if the other person is a looker and gives you a way in).
If you’re not normally keen on dressing up (especially to nightclubs where how you dress determines whether the bouncers let you in or not), an incentive to get you donning the old uniform is the chance to win $500 cash each for best dressed male and female. Just think of all the booze you can get with that! (Though if you do that, your hard earned money will go straight back to the club.)
Another incentive could be revenge. If you hated your high school, make sure you get photos taken of yourself at the party and put it on Facebook and tag your old school to it just to piss them off by having their sacred uniform tarnished and the school’s reputation go down the drain by images of a former student pissed, smoking and partying. Revenge really is a dish best served drunk.
On Sunday, March 11, 2020 at 8:00pm, Marquee’s School Uniform Party will perhaps be the closest thing you’ll ever get to reliving your school years, or at the very least get a laugh out of going clubbing in your school uniform.
