The Emerald Peacock is the amazing venture from the people who brought you The Red Hummingbird. The Emerald Peacock boasts a cosy cocktail lounge, a restaurant serving simple tapas and wood-fired pizzas and a candlelit rooftop adorned with recycled wood and natural tones. It's retro, eclectic and decadent - and it's also very Melbourne.
Cafe by day, bar by night, Little Peninsula is one of the many hidden bars of Melbourne that can be hard to find, but once you do, you'll never want to leave. Whether you are looking for a quiet and secluded drink for two, or a place to kick on in the comfort of a small bar, Little Peninsula provides a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the finer things in life.

Originally established in 1926, the Precinct Hotel today represents the culinary, corporate and casual delights that see Melbourne as a stand out international destination for visitors and preferred abode for many. Nestled in the heart of Richmond and simultaneously catering for a versatile range of occasions, the Precinct Hotel is a family owned and operated establishment that offers a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere, guaranteed to make any soiree an unforgettable occasion. From intimate dining and live entertainment to big screen sporting events over the weekend... Precinct Hotel is the place to be in Melbourne.
Set in what once must have been a house, the rest of the establishment extends out the back from the front bar, into a beer garden that is a clutter of charming mis-matched hard-rubbish sourced tables, chairs and benches. The beer garden closes annoyingly early, but there are been times in my attendance at Prudence that the young, hip and slightly jaded staff have re-opened it again simply to better manage the flow of people in through the door.
Red Bennies is truly unique live music and performing arts venue, designed to showcase music with roots in soul, funk, disco and jazz alongside a multitude of performing arts including cabaret, circus and burlesque. The large single room space has been constructed with multilevel platforms, raised booth seating and mezzanine, in the style of traditional jazz clubs, to allow patrons to view bands, djs and performances from any location within the venue. Aesthetically influenced by classic art deco classic theatres and cocktail bars, the burnt orange and amber walls set against the sweeping curtained and multiple bars offer the perfect environment to take in twisted circus show, get loose to a rambunctious jazz band, try of our 100 cocktails, enjoy mouth watering tapas, or create your own brand of mayhem.
It looks a bit like a trashy motel scene with a huge stretch of faux grass and white tables and umbrellas but it works for them. On the green you can join the other sea of bodies for a nice cold cider or beer whilst embracing the killer views of the Melbourne skyline/concrete jungle. If you'd rather not risk the chance of getting grass stains, then head to the bar side, a super small area that realtors could only describe as truly intimate.

Tucked away upstairs bar that'll appeal to those that like things a little bit opulent and candlelit. Modern couches and cruisey cocktails are the order of the day here, with table service offered for those that can't tear themselves away from their lounge suite. Rust's music tends to be hip hop style, and snacks are of a Malaysian variety.
