Unlike any DJ competition to come before it, Your Shot provides inexperienced, unknown DJ hopefuls with the opportunity to fulfill their dreams and become DJ’s, capable of playing at clubs and festivals throughout Australia.
Following a comprehensive search and selection process, a group of lucky contestants embark on a journey consisting of 6 weeks of fully funded DJ training where they learn the necessary skills behind the art of DJ’ing. It is also during this time where they create and perfect their very own DJ sets, which they will perform at Your Shot in front of all their friends and a sell out club.
Its an experience like no other, and with a life changing prize up for grabs, each nervous contestant gives it their all in the hopes of taking home the title of Your Shot Champion.- Your Shot

If your living in Melbourne or well watch the news, you will know that the Occupy protest has reached Melbourne & Australia.
Having taken America by storm with politicians and celebrities taking part, the Occupy protest are aimed at the crime of greed and injustice in the economic sector.
Whelther your for or against this rally/ cause, just make sure to be careful and respectful of the people around you.
As you can see from news reports and YouTube, violence is another yet to make an appearance at Melbourne’s Occupy on Swanstown Street.
