Red Square Bar and Lounge111 Hindley St, Adelaide,SA
Being the party central of Adelaide it would seem quite fitting that Red Square (fondly known as Reds amongst local party goers) is situated smack bang in the middle of Adelaide's busiest party district, Hindley Street. But Reds is far from lost in the music and mayhem, featuring a red carpet entrance (yes, a theme is starting to emerge) to lead you inside its electric escape where hours seem like days and the beats never stops.
Review of Red Square Bar

Not unlike the aptly named Red Square of Moscow, Russia (thought to be the centre of Moscow and perhaps even all of Russia), Red Square of Hindley Street is thought to be the party central of Adelaide, with its inhabitants even displaying a similar taste for the ol' russian water, or vodka as we like to call it.
Being the party central of Adelaide it would seem quite fitting that Red Square (fondly known as Reds amongst local party goers) is situated smack bang in the middle of Adelaide's busiest party district, Hindley Street. The door charge may seem a bit steep at up to $20 a head but believe me, it is worth your while. Just remember you won't be getting kicked out until around the time all reasonable people are finishing up their Sunday runs and are now sipping lattes and reading the morning paper. The biggest feature Reds can offer is their dual dance arenas, both very different from the other and completely insane. The first you will notice as soon as you enter. This is known as the main room and features red hot DJ's such as DJ Law, DJ Marek and the Sexy Gypkidd, to name a few. Warning; try not to be transfixed by the Saturday night fever-esque illuminated dance floor; you're not John Travolta, so don't try to be (speaking from experience).
Once you're done shuffling and shaking about the techno-zone you may want to wander across into the warehouse, which is Red's home of RnB. An impressive DJ booth sits high above the crowd with a runway-like stage in front for the daring or disastrously drunk. The warehouse features DJ Capital D every Saturday night. He's sure to have all the shortys in the house dropping it low in no time. Tip: make sure you duck off to the loos before ripping it up in the RnB room. It does tend to get pretty friendly with everyone bumpin' and grindin' and you wouldn't want to drip sweat on anyone.
Their other big feature is the VIP lounges which can be booked for celebrations. It's not too expensive at $100 for a Friday night and $150 for Saturdays. This also includes entry fees, so if everyone chips in it really doesn't cost much more and you get a fab private table with white leather couches, overlooking either of the dance floors and table service.
Inside info: if you register you can receive an $80 birthday drinks voucher for you and a minimum of 4 friends! Tip: make sure you get there before 10:30pm as there is no leniency on late arrivals and you will lose your drinks voucher. No amount of begging and pleading will do, trust me. Other than that Red Square really is a regime I can support!

Shotz pool lounge is an alternative medium-sized nightclub in the Adelaide CBD which features plenty of pool tables, space and cheap drinks at the bar! Shotz plays alternative rock/emo/punk music and the crowd is similar. They have special resident DJs and a good dancefloor with a small stage for rocking out to the anthems. Shotz is an interesting club for a niche market, but has lately been attracting a wider crowd to hand out and play pool and drink $1 beers in the beer garden.
